Web Developer Employment
Job Description:
We are looking for a stellar Web developer with 2-3 years of experience. You will be responsible for supporting the senior ASP and SQL developer. You will need to format and ensure that W3C standards are applied to the newly developed code and apply the necessary changes. You will be required to create and build new Web sites using unique content written by our content development staff. You will be required to make changes to existing Web properties and follow optimization strategies laid out by the director of marketing.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of Web design and development.
- Applied knowledge of CSS, XHTML, JavaScript, and DHTML is required.
- Thorough knowledge of browser compatibility issues for all platforms and all major browsers is a must.
- Ability to code in Standards Compliant mode as set forth by the W3C.
- An understanding of Microsoft ASP.
- Ability work independently and develop new ideas to increase Web traffic.
- An understanding of SEO/SEM.
- 4-year college degree.
Responsibilities:
- Build and beta-test new Web properties.
- Expand existing Web properties.
- Ensure W3C compliance.
- Report to the director of marketing and senior ASP/SQL Developer.
