Rebecca was born and raised in Northern Montana, but has called Seattle home for the last ten years. She worked for The Seattle Times as a news assistant for four years, then as a freelance editor and writer while she was in graduate school. She has edited papers written by graduate and undergraduate students, and she created a style guide for an Oregon weekly newspaper. She has worked as a photographer, writer, and editor for the Creswell Chronicle, the University of Oregon, and the UO's School of Journalism and Communication. Her areas of expertise are in literature, history, journalism, film, and the arts.
