Meredith has been a freelance writer and editor since she graduated from high school ten years ago. Her interests include words, sailing, animals, grammar, fashion, political science, advertising, Burning Man, and saving the planet. Recent copies of The New York Times, National Geographic, and Newsweek can be found on her coffee table, along with a red pen. She has been known to mail corrected pages back to the editors of periodicals. While many of her favorite books are nonfiction, she also enjoys old tales like Gilgamesh and Aristophanes’ Lysistrata.
